When the Brand Design team at Webflow first took shape, their main priorities were to showcase the product’s design capabilities and highlight what our community could do with them. But once Webflow teammates gave them feedback that their designs could just as easily cause harm as they could delight and amaze others, they knew it was time for a big shift in focus.
In this session, Camille Esposito (Brand Design Manager) shared about their journey learning (and continuing to learn) digital accessibility, how they put it into practice, and tips everyone can use to also build with disability in mind — starting with their accessibility checklist. Dr. Michele A. Williams accompanied Camille to provide accessibility and disability background and context.
